Expecting Rob to say that it was really too small a job, I was so pleased with his eagerness and enthusiasm to come out and take a look.
Arriving with his able apprentice Sam, Rob took the time and care to explain what the fault was likely to be and the options available to hopefully repair. This included the consequence that could occur if the simple repair option did not work.

I first used Rob over 10 years ago when we had a problem with the boiler. I was impressed by his professional approach. He (and his then apprentice) committed to and arrived at the appointed time, examined the boiler and explained the problem. He showed me the problem. Then he explained my options and the likely costs involved. I also observed him instructing, guiding and inspecting the work done by his apprentice. He was very thorough. The work was exemplary. (And neat!) I’ve continued to use Rob and his team with full confidence ever since then. Highly recommend.

We have just moved for the second time. This is our second move new boiler, only this time it was a complete new system. The team were great, friendly, approachable and tidy! At the end of each day I came home to a clean and tidy working area. Rob was very fair explaining all the (small) risks that could happen when changing over from a conventional to combi boiler, fortunately everything went well. Rob is a perfectionist and sets high standards, the boys all know this and so it is reflected in their work. I will continue to recommend them.

Platinum Plumbers made extensive alterations to the house, to convert an upstairs bathroom into a shower room with level access for a disabled person. Rob, the owner of the business, carefully discussed, noted and priced each part of the work, so that both of us were clear what to expect. He aimed to work thoroughly, so that there would be no leaks etc even years after his plumbers had left. With one exception he succeeded. (Afterwards I was able to make a tool and remedy the defect myself). Justin, the supervisor, works so well with customers. He usually checked with me to fit the pipes etc just where I wanted them, and was willing to alter their position if in the wrong place. I used Platinum Plumbers again only a few weeks later. They renewed a cold water tank in the loft, with all the pipework. They worked hard and completed all the work successfully in one long day.

Rob and Justin have done various jobs for us over the years and we’ve always been really pleased with their work. We first met them when my landlord used them to fit a new boiler and they did a great job, so when we bought a house 3 years ago we used them to fit a new boiler. Since then they’ve done a few smaller jobs for us as we’ve done work on different bits of the house. They always do a great job, they are tidy and clean up after themselves, and communicate well before and during the job. I’d really recommend them.
